About Medardo
Hello! I'm Medardo, but everyone calls me Eo. Originally from Sonora, Mexico, I moved to Pittsburgh in 2018 to join my wife after a two-year wait for my green card. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Sonora and have multiple nationally accredited fitness certifications, including CPT NSCA & NASM, NASM PES, NASM CNC, NASM CES. Currently, I'm working towards my Wellcoaches certification to become a Health and Wellness Coach, recognized by the NBC-HWC.
Fitness has always been a passion of mine. My journey began with swimming in childhood, followed by an interest in resistance training, powerlifting, and bodybuilding during high school. In Mexico, I worked at various gyms, helping people achieve their best shapes. Moving to Pittsburgh and continuing my career helping people with their fitness journeys opened my perspective for a different approach by emphasizing the importance of health and wellness.
My focus shifted to helping clients improve their overall health, mobility, and happiness with their bodies while maintaining strength where it matters most. I'm dedicated to making a real impact on people so they can regain control over their bodies and make mindful decisions for a fulfilling lifestyle. My training approach addresses muscle imbalances to promote better posture, mobility, balance, and functional strength. I also integrate wellness coaching to encourage adherence to programs and foster sustainable habit changes.
In my free time, I enjoy reading about stoicism, writing, and producing my own music. I love spending time with family and going to concerts.
